SKOLAS17 Privacy Policy

The purpose of SIA K47 (hereinafter referred to as SKOLAS17) privacy policy is to provide natural persons – data subjects – with information about the purpose, scope and protection of personal data processing, as well as other information related to the processing of data subjects’ personal data.

SKOLAS17 processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter referred to as the Regulation), as well as other applicable regulatory enactments.

Purposes, legal bases, and principles of personal data processing

SKOLAS17 processes personal data primarily for the following purposes:

  • providing services to natural and legal persons;
  • identifying natural persons, preparing, concluding and executing contracts;
  • personnel management, including hiring employees, concluding and executing employment contracts, accounting requirements for remuneration, including supporting documents, provision of social benefits (health insurance, etc.); monitoring of working hours and performance of duties;
  • financial management;
  • examination and processing of complaints, submissions and proposals;
  • public safety.

Please note that the list of data processing purposes included in this privacy notice is not exhaustive; personal data of natural persons may also be processed for purposes not mentioned in this privacy notice and which are necessary to comply with regulatory requirements.

SKOLAS17 processes your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • in accordance with your explicit, free and unambiguous consent (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter referred to as the “Regulation”));
  • processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are party or in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the Regulation);
  • processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject (Article 6(1)(c) of the Regulation);
  • processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by SKOLAS17, you or a third party (Article 6(1)(f) of the Regulation).

Data collected about natural persons:

  • For evaluation: name, surname, email address, telephone number, CV, and information provided in the application letter;
  • To establish and maintain a contractual relationship with the data subject: first name, last name, personal identification number, home address;
  • For invoicing the recipient: first name, last name, personal identification number, home address.

Please note that you are responsible for providing accurate personal data to SKOLAS17, and in the event of any changes, you are obliged to correct inaccurate personal data by informing SKOLAS17.

Recipients of personal data

Personal data from SKOLAS17 may be obtained by state and local government institutions in accordance with the procedure established by regulatory enactments.

Personal data processors may be used to process your personal data.

In such cases, SKOLAS17 takes the necessary measures to ensure that such processors process personal data in accordance with SKOLAS17’s instructions and in accordance with the applicable regulatory enactments, and requires that appropriate security measures be taken.

Please note that personal data is not intended to be transferred to a third country.

Duration of personal data storage

SKOLAS17 stores personal data in accordance with the specified purposes and legal basis for the processing of personal data, as long as at least one of the following criteria exists:

  • there is a legal obligation to store the data;
  • it is necessary to pursue its legitimate interests;
  • it is necessary to fulfill contractual obligations;
  • the data subject’s consent to the processing of personal data is valid;

Access to your personal data and other rights of the data subject

In order to obtain information about the personal data processed by SKOLAS17 about the data subject, the data subject has the right to contact SKOLAS17 and receive information in accordance with the procedure established by regulatory enactments.

The data subject has the right to request the restriction of the processing of personal data, to object to the processing of personal data, to request the correction of personal data, and, in certain cases, to request its deletion in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation.

SKOLAS17 will contact the data subject: in person, after identifying the data subject in advance; by post, sending a registered letter to the person’s registered address; by e-mail, responding to the e-mail address indicated in the data subject’s application, signed with a secure electronic signature.

In the event of a personal data breach or suspicion of a personal data breach, please contact SKOLAS17 or the SKOLAS17 data protection specialist.

Complaints about personal data protection violations can also be submitted to the personal data supervisory authority – the Data State Inspectorate (address: Elijas iela 17-2, Riga, LV-1050).

Data subject’s consent to data processing and the right to withdraw it

The data subject has the right to withdraw their consent to data processing at any time by writing to [email protected] or by submitting an application to the legal address of SKOLAS17, in which case further data processing based on the consent given for the specific purpose will not be carried out.

Withdrawal of consent cannot stop data processing that is carried out on other legal grounds.

Ensuring data security

SKOLAS17 has implemented electronic, physical, and administrative security measures to ensure the security of the information collected. Your data is stored securely. It is protected against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction by any organization or individual. The website www.sk17.lv is hosted on servers that are secure and equipped with the latest data protection technologies.
